History:

ClearViewEdge, LLC is a software company that develops products for businesses that invest in alternative investments. The company was started in 2009 and is based in Sandy Hook, CT. ClearView Portfolio Manager, is the flagship portfolio analysis tool released by ClearViewEdge.  Prior to commercial release,ClearView Portfolio Manager had been in development at a large Fund of Funds for the past 4 years. The initial idea for the product grew from this Fund of Funds and the firm’s need to better manage the business. The firm where ClearView Portfolio Manager was initially developed has distributed the product  throughout the organization – through Accounting, Marketing, and the Research Desk - as have other clients who have made the decision to install the ClearView Portfolio Manager software.
